Walkway Installation in Sparta, NJ
We completed a walkway and landscaping project that refreshed the home's entry and added visual interest. We removed the old stone walkway and installed a new clay brick walkway, giving the entry a more classic, warm appearance.
The first part of the job was removing the existing stone walkway. That cleared the area and allowed us to create a clean, even surface for the new clay brick walkway. Removing the old material made it possible to reshape the entry and deliver a finished look that fits the home.
Alongside the new walkway we created a new flower bed to enhance the front entry. The bed features river stone, which adds a natural, finished edge to the landscape. The river stone pairs well with the clay brick, tying the hardscape and softscape together visually.
Plantings in the new bed include three boxwoods and one hydrangea. The boxwoods provide evergreen structure and form, while the hydrangea brings seasonal color and fuller blooms. Together these plants introduce a mix of texture and color that complements the walkway and creates a welcoming first impression.
If you are in Sparta, NJ and considering a walkway replacement or a small front-yard planting project, this example shows how replacing worn materials and adding a modest planting bed can transform an entryway into a more attractive and welcoming space.
